HARTLEY FARMS is located three miles from the town of Morristown to the North and four miles from Madison to the East. Train service to New York City is a seven minute drive to the stations of Morristown, Convent Station or Madison.. Access to Route 287 is three miles to the North, Route 78 is eight miles to the South. New York City is thirty two miles due East and can be driven in less than an hour when the traffic allows Newark Airport is 20 minutes away. Morristown Airport can facilitate all types of private aircraft.
From the Lincoln Tunnel/Newark Airport
Exit 14 off the N.J. Turnpike (South). Follow signs for I-78 West. Take I-78 for approximately 9 miles to NJ 24 West. Take 24 West to I-287 (South) to Morristown-Exit 35. Then follow the same directions as described below.
From Summit or Chatham: Take 124 West through Chatham and Madison. Follow 124 West until you come to a traffic light on the corner of Loantaka Way. (2nd light after Drew University entrance) Turn left and take Loantaka Way (approx. two miles) to Spring Valley Road. Turn Right, and look for the main entrance about 1/4 mile on left after the Stone Wall marked Hartley Farms Road.
From the George Washington Bridge
I-80 West to I-287 South. Exit 35-Madison Avenue. Right off ramp to first traffic light. Turn Left on South Street, which leads to and turns into Spring Valley Road. Turn Left onto Spring Valley Road, (approx. 1 1/2 miles) and look for Stone Wall entrance on right side marked Hartley Farms Road.
From Southern New Jersey
I-287 North. Exit at South Street, second exit in Morristown.. Turn Right at light onto South Street, and go less than one mile and turn left on Spring Valley Road. Look for Stone Wall entrance on right side marked Hartley Farms Road.
